Dear vkialka, thank you for bringing this up. We wanted for a long time to clear things up but didn't had the time. Now we made time. So: any font identification system gives you a range of results with probabilities. Ex: We thing the font is 90% like verdana 88% like helvetica 87% like garamond and so on. Like a DNA test : it gets a match that Joe is related to Ana by 90% accuracy.
In order to work the system needs relevant images. You can find the guidelines here. Besides good quality the user has to use relevant and distinct characters like g p q w f . If you compare the letter O it is very similar in verdana arial garamond etc. We are not sure what letters have you used but we suspect they were not was very distinct.
