strange google mail font

i had this font display on google mail emails from a specific person yesterday. now it has turned back to normal. can anyone identify this font/script please?

Hey Alex, I figured it out via another forum. Apparently it's Wizard Runes. But why the hell would that appear momentarily (last night between 3-6am or so) on my mail instead of times new roman? I don't even have that font installed as far as I'm aware. Spooky!!
