About the family
The general idea: the symbols are stylized in the form of the fragments of the Moscow Kremlin walls.
Release: in the form of "gorod.Moskva" font with the four styles.
Normal and Italic styles have thin vertical strokes, Bold and Bold-Italic styles - thick ones. The symbols of Italic and Bold-Italic styles do not have an actual slant of the vertical strokes, most of the symbols have countersrokes (serifs) at the end of strokes instead.
We have to explain the meaning of the font name. It is "city of Moscow" written in Russian and transliterated.
The first mention of Moscow is found in the annals of 1147. Since the 14th century Moscow had been the center of the Great Princedom of Moscow, since the second half of the 15th century it has been the capital of the uniform Russian state.
