Step 1 – Backup your registry – just in case something happens<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Hit Windows + R<\/code> on your keyboard, type in the following and press Enter<\/code> on your keyboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2 – Choose the font you like<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Press Windows + i<\/code> shortcut key to bring up the Settings window. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now press on Personalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, click on the Fonts option from the right. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the next screen, you will see all the available fonts. Click the one which you want to use. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Write down the full name of the font style you wish to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now close the Settings window. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3 – Change the font<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Open the Start Menu to type \u2018Notepad\u2019 in the search bar and click on the relevant search result. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Replace the New-Font-Name with the full name of the font.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once done, use the Ctrl + S<\/code> shortcut to save the file. In the Save As window, choose Desktop as the file location. Assign a meaningful name to the file and put .reg as the file extension. Don\u2019t forget to set \u2018All Files\u2019 in the \u2018Save as Type\u2019 drop-down menu. Once done, hit \u2018Save\u2019 in the bottom right corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now go to the Desktop and right-click on the file. Choose the \u2018Merge\u2019 option from the context menu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose Yes on the prompts that appear on the screen and, finally, reboot your PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When your PC restarts, you\u2019ll see that the new font is applied to all the textual elements of your system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bonus – how to change font size in Windows 11<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you prefer to have a larger font size in Windows 11, you can easily do it in under 60 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
